Collaboration with Louis Nielsen A/S

This summer, Louis Nielsen will present their new glasses collection, “The Inspired Collection”, and jewellery designer Vicki Zoé Ziska from snygg is a key part of the campaign. She has been asked to choose five of her favorite frame styles, as well as to design the patterns for the collection’s accessories. As a part of the campaign, a choice collection of jewellery from snygg will be exhibited in all 63 Louis Nielsen stores in Denmark. (For more information please download this pdf file.)

Exhibition at Illum/COP15: "e-collection"

Vicki Zoé Ziska will contribute her REthoughts collection to the exhibition e-collection in Illum in connection with COP-15. The exhibition focuses on sustainable design, and is a collaboration between the Koldinghus Museum, The Kolding Design School and the Trapholt Art Museum. It will run from the 5th - 19th of December, 2009.

Snygg’s REthoughts collection is 100% sustainable, created exclusively from fine reclaimed silver and from the profusion of plastics usually thrown away. Our use of recycled materials means that the resources are utilized more efficiently and are granted a new worth, ensuring a longer lifespan.

Exhibition at Koldinghus: "Material for Reflection"

Vicki Zoé Ziska was chosen to participate in the exhibition "Material for Reflection" at Koldinghus, which focuses on sustainable fashion. Her contribution, a collection named REthoughts, was made from recycled packaging and will be sold at Koldinghus. The Golden Fur Pin 2008 designed by Vicki Zoé Ziska.

The Golden Fur Pin is a prestigious award and competition for young, talented designers working with fur. The award is created every year by a young jewellery designer. This year's award will be designed by Vicki Zoé Ziska from the jewellery company snygg. Vicki Zoé Ziska will be presenting the award at the Golden Fur Pin's 10th anniversary show, where no less than 30 different interpretations of fur will be shown. Vicki Zoé Ziska was chosen to design the prestigious Designers Nest Award. This prize is given twice a year in conjuction with the CPH Vision Fashion Fair to a promising, up-and-coming young designer under the patronage of the Danish Crown Princess Mary.

Vicki Zoé Ziska and snygg were chosen to participate in a series of programs on Danish Television channel DR2. The programs deal with the idea of entrepreneurship teaming up a promising young business owner with a highly experienced mentor. The young and dynamic Creative Director and owner of Hummel, Christian Stadil, mentored Vicki Zoé Ziska.
